Important Meeting Reminders

Just a quick reminder to join us for tonight's El Camino Real Renewal Open House, and this coming Monday's Minimum Wage study session at 6 PM. We value your input and participation! 

Important Dates:

• Burlingame's El Camino Real Renewal Open House - TONIGHT
   Tuesday, January 28th, 6-8 PM, Burlingame Recreation Center, 850 Burlingame Avenue

This will be a worthwhile meeting -- thanks for making an extra effort to attend:

Caltrans, the City of Burlingame, and our citizen-driven Burlingame El Camino Real Task Force invite you to join us for an education night to learn more about opportunities for the long-term rehabilitation of our iconic roadway. 

The project area stretches three miles and encompasses some of the most challenging pavement, vegetation, sidewalk, utility, drainage, and safety issues. This stretch of El Camino Real is also lined with heritage tree rows that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 

Caltrans will share information about potential improvements to drainage, landscaping, sidewalk safety, ADA compliance, and rehabilitation of pavement. Learn more about the project by visiting 

• Burlingame Minimum Wage Study Session 
   Monday, February 3rd, 6 PM, Burlingame City Hall, 501 Primrose Road

The City Council will hold a study session on Monday, February 3rd to receive information about local minimum wage ordinances in San Mateo County and discuss whether it wishes to develop such an ordinance for Burlingame.  Here is a link to our staff report (meeting prep document) and I encourage you to read it in advance.  We welcome all stakeholders to participate in this important conversation.

   Friday, March 6th @ 8:30 AM, Il Piccolo Caffe, 1219 Broadway. All are welcome, no RSVP required. 
   Refreshments provided at no taxpayer expense.

Saturday, 1/25/20 City Council Goals Session Recording
